We are a multi-agency
project which works with a number of organisations in the Bradford
district. and offer a service for women with
or with out children experiencing domestic abuse who want the abuse
to stop but do not want to leave home.
We support women who live in the Bradford Metropolitan District
area. If you live outside this area don't worry we can put you in
contact with another service which may be able to help you. Working
with you all the way we can provide information and varied support
before, during and after court or other procedures to stop the
abuse.

woman's situation is different"
We will help you explore your
options. Our team of women's support workers, including a legal
specialist, can outline some choices, to help you make more informed
decisions. You may want emotional support after deciding what you
want to do. We can help arrange solicitors appointments, be with you
when you meet a solicitor and/or when attending court.

Security
"It's
your right to feel safe"
You may feel unsafe in your own
home. We can provide lock changes and panic alarms free of charge to
give you added protection and peace of mind.

You don’t have to live with it.
We are here to help if you do not want to leave your home. However,
many women have to escape the abuse by leaving home and going to a
refuge or a safe house.
We will help you make the right choices for you and your
children’s safety. We will put you in touch with the right
organisation to assist you to find alternative accommodation, if you
want to leave.

"Children can be affected
too"
Many women have children who have been affected
by either witnessing or experiencing domestic abuse. Thousands of
children live in fear in their own homes. If you feel your children
are in need of support we can refer you to the right agency.
