What We Do

Domestic Abuse Community Service Provision

Staying Put is an innovative voluntary sector organisation and registered charity providing Community Services. Our mission is to increase the safety of women and children who experience domestic violence/abuse by providing a range of diverse services – challenging men, supporting women, working in partnership, influencing policy and campaigning for change.

Our primary aim is to empower women by providing them with the right information which enables them to make informed decisions. Our expertise in the field of domestic abuse has enabled us to be creative in developing flexible services that meet the diverse needs of vulnerable people experiencing domestic abuse in Bradford district. Even though we support women who live in the Bradford District area, if you live outside this area don't worry we can put you in contact with another service which may be able to assist you.

A range of services are currently provided by Staying Put including Crisis Intervention support and assistance, Floating Support, culturally specific support, Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVA), Legal Assistance and home security measures. We aim to enable the transition of women and children from violent situations to safe and independent living.
